Canine (other behavior problems) DOC
    (Fill this general behavior problem preconsult form out if your dog's
     problem is something other than separation anxiety or aggression to people).


Fees for behavior problem housecalls (from Vacaville to West Sacramento) Aggression, biting, snapping, nipping or lunging at other people or other animals. Bad with farrier, veterinarian, or groomer. Bad for procedures such as shots, deworming, hoof trimming, clipping ears or coat. Difficult to trailer load. Afraid of novel objects and new situations. House-training (dogs), destruction, separation anxiety, fearful, barking, etc.
Horses and Dogs:

Aggression, biting, snapping, nipping or lunging at other people or other dogs/horses. Bad with farrier, veterinarian, or groomer. Bad for procedures such as shots, deworming, hoof trimming, clipping ears or coat. Difficult to trailer load. Afraid of novel objects and new situations. Housetraining (dogs), destruction, separation anxiety, fearful, etc.

Includes:

  • 3 visits (first one is usually 1.5-2 hours)
  • Email and phone follow-ups as needed
  • Typed instructions to the owner
  • Letter updating the referring veterinarian

    $400.00 paid at the time of the first consult
$200 for the first consult and $100 for each follow-up. Option for participation in group dog training class or semi-private sessions after the first 3 consults ($45.00 per dog for 2 dogs; $35.00 per dog for 3 dogs, $25.00 per dog for 4 dogs).

Cats:

Kitten Class:

Give your kitten the early experiences he needs to think "potty" inside the box, to accept other household pets, now and in the future, and to be sociable with humans, including the vet.

Puppy Starter Lessons (Puppies between 7 and 16 weeks of age)

    Includes:

  • Potty training schedule
  • Dog proofing the house
  • Crate training
  • Prevent digging, destruction, and other dangerous behaviors (such as nipping)
  • Puppy proofing your child
  • Integrating the puppy into a house with other pets

    Single visit: Focuses on general puppy issues and starts owners on basic exercises to teach puppies to willingly pay attention to their owners - $85.00

    Puppy pack: Set of three visits that shows owners how to get better attention from their puppies as well as how to reward proper greetings, turn coming when called into a fun game, train Fido to walk nicely on leash, and to hold calmly still for grooming, toe nail trims and other common daily procedures. - $255.00 (includes some supplies).

    Puppy Class: Give your pup the social skills he needs in this group puppy pre-school.
